Current Zoning
changed from Government/Institution to Planned Development

Seeing
as we were using the building as it was intially designed and built with minor upgrades and road improvements, we see no need to have switch zoning. Our intended uses were to include: banquet facility, residence, dance lessons, tours and bed and breakfast. Below is a list of approved usages under original zoning of Government/Institution. While the names are not the same we have highlighted the appropriate synonyms matching our usages. Planned Development zoning's purpose is to encourage more creative and imaginative design than generally is possible under conventional zoning regulations. Since this structure was designed, built and operated under conventional zoning for over 90 years,
we see no need for imagination here. We have included photos from today and the past to highlight the fact that we are not being creative.
Everything we are doing today was done before. You should be able to tell from the photos of the foyer, ballroom and theater that structure
is designed for our intended use.
